Mob & Entity Limits
Close collapsible

Mobs are limited to 30 per chunk or per group.

This is to preserve a lag-free environment. In Minecraft, when there are a large number of mobs in one chunk or group it puts a lot of strain on the server and risks degrading the performance of the server. We prefer to keep our server running at a constant 20 TPS.

This limit applies to animals, villagers, and monsters, any over the limit will be automatically removed.

Entities such as item frames are limited to 30 per chunk or per group.

Entities that are over the limit will automatically be removed.

You cannot have a group of villagers larger than ~30.

Custom Enchants
Close collapsible

What are custom enchantments?

Custom enchants can be added to certain items to give additional bonuses. These are separate from the standard minecraft enchantments.

How to obtain them and use them

Custom enchants can be purchased from the "/ce" store with player exp. To add an enchant to an item you need to click and drag the book onto the item. Each book has a success chance. If the enchantment fails the item and the book will be lost.

Tiers

There are multiple custom enchantment tiers. Higher tiers have better enchantments but cost more exp.

  • Simple
  • Unique
  • Elite
  • Ultimate
  • Legendary
  • Fabled

Items

There are also different custom enchantment items which are listed below.

Magic Dusts

Magic dust is used to increase the success chance of an enchantment book. The higher the success chance, the more likely the enchantment will apply. Remember that the tier of the magic dust needs to match the tier of the book. For example, simple magic dust can be used on a simple enchant book, unique magic dust is used on a unique enchant book, etc.

Black Scroll

Removes a random enchantment from an item and turns it into a book.

Slot Increaser

Slot increasers allow you to add more enchantments of a certain tier to an item. The tier system works the same as the magic dust, a simple slot increaser will allow an extra simple enchantment, while a unique slot increaser will allow for an extra unique enchantment, etc.

Mystery Dust

Mystery dust is a failed bi-product of magic dust and does not have any use.

Transmog Scroll

Arranges the enchantments on an item in order of tiers.

Map Size
Close collapsible

The current map size is 30 000 x 30 000 and applies to the overworld, nether and the end.

Villager Behavior
Close collapsible

Please note that villager behavior slightly differs on SA Crafters.

Villagers are a huge strain on the server, many servers disable them completely. We still allow villagers and villager trading halls.

When you have a villager in a 1x1 area, their AI will be disabled. This is to allow trading halls. When making iron golem farms use a larger area than 1x1 to store your villagers. Once the villager is not in a 1x1 area their AI will be enabled again.

This allows us to let players use villagers as they wish while at the same time reducing their load on the server and keeping the experience enjoyable.

Treasure Maps
Close collapsible

Treasure maps cause many issues for servers. They are disabled to prevent major issues. Too many chunks get loaded which can bring the server to a standstill. To keep the experience enjoyable we have decided to disable them.

Stacked Raid Farms
Close collapsible

Please note that there are known issues with stacked raid farms. This is not a SA Crafters issue but a widespread issue on multiplayer Minecraft servers.

Please note that raid farms may not work as they should or may not work at all.

Player Warps
Close collapsible

To access player warps you can use the /pwarp command. You can then click on "All Warps" to see all warps created by players.

You can find out more info about a player warp by hovering over it and clicking it to teleport to the warp.

How to create player warps

Creating player warps are limited to Member or higher ranks. You can rank up by voting and using the /rankup command. Check each rank for details on their player warp limits as some ranks can create more than 1 player warp.

Replace (name) with the name you have chosen for your warp.

To remove a warp type /pw remove (name)

Please remember player warps are public warps and anyone can teleport to them! Do not create a warp near an area you want to keep private.

Sell Wands
Close collapsible

What are sell wands

Use sell wands to sell items out of containers such as chests, hoppers, barrels, etc. There are multiple tiers of sell wands which have different multipliers and allow you to sell your items at a higher price.

Example

If you get a 1.5x sell wand (gold tier) and you sell items you will get an extra 50% of each item's sell price. Eg. if the price is $10, the sell wand will sell it for $15.

Sell Wand Tiers

  • Bronze: 1x multiplier
  • Silver:  1.25x multiplier
  • Gold: 1.5x multiplier
  • Diamond: 2x multiplier
  • Platinum: 2.5x multiplier

How to obtain

Sell wands can be obtained from reward crates by voting. Sell wands are also awarded to some ranks when ranking up.
